Team Impact Award | ACE-WIL BC/Yukon

Purpose

The Team Impact Award recognizes a team that has demonstrated excellence, innovation, and meaningful impact in advancing work-integrated learning through collaborative efforts.

This award celebrates the collective achievements of teams whose initiatives, projects, or partnerships have enhanced WIL opportunities, strengthened relationships, or contributed to positive outcomes for students, employers, institutions, and/or the broader WIL community.

Deadline: 9:00am PST, Monday, March 8, 2027

Eligibility

The team must include at least one current ACE-WIL member.
The initiative or accomplishment being recognized must have occurred within the past calendar year.
Teams may self-nominate or be nominated by an ACE-WIL member, colleague, supervisor, employer partner, or community partner.

Selection Criteria

The ACE-WIL Awards Committee will consider the following:

Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrated effective collaboration, shared leadership, and collective effort in achieving a common goal.
Innovation and Excellence: Development or implementation of creative approaches, initiatives, or improvements that advance WIL practices or opportunities.
Impact and Outcomes: Evidence of meaningful and measurable contributions to students, employers, institutions, or the broader WIL community.
Sustainability and Broader Influence: Potential for lasting impact, continued benefits, or application of the team’s work in other WIL settings.

Incomplete or improperly prepared nominations will be disqualified by the ACE-WIL Awards Committee.
