Award Winners, Student of the Year |

Laci’s work-integrated learning experience at AVI Health and Community Services provided the opportunity to apply her academic knowledge in real-world settings, with a focus on sexual health and addiction medicine. Through this experience, she developed a deeper understanding of the complex challenges individuals face and the importance of compassionate, person-centred care. It strengthened her ability to engage with others in an empathetic and non-judgemental manner, while reinforcing her commitment to supporting individuals and communities in meaningful and respectful ways.
