Are you a post-secondary student looking to explore career prospects in some of BC’s most rapidly evolving sectors?
Career opportunities in MATCH (museums, arts, tourism, culture, and hospitality) are exciting and diverse, drawing on the unique capabilities of students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Student talent is in demand for MATCH organizations that are looking for fresh perspectives and progressive skills to innovate and grow.
Talent MATCH helps students who are seeking WIL placements in the sector by providing industry-specific resources for students interested in MATCH placements. Scroll down for links to resources documents and recordings of webinars.
Talent MATCH for Students was funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Training in 2022 and was a partnership between the Association for Co-operative Education & Work-Integrated Learning BC/Yukon (ACE-WIL) and the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, BC Museums Association and go2HR. It was a “companion” program to Talent MATCH, which supported employers from MATCH organizations. Although the program has ended, this webpage and the resources remain to support students considering work in MATCH sectors. For additional support, contact your local post-secondary institution.
