Indigenous WIL Resource Hub resources serve as useful tools for WIL program developers and practitioners to assist in relationship-building with employers and students, or as helpful springboards for internal program development.

Andrea Sator and Nancy Johnston led a workshop introducing their Supporting the WIL Student Journey.The purpose of this session was to share information about a new professional development opportunity, called “The ACE-WIL Practitioner’s Professional Development: Supporting the WIL Student Journey.”

These guides outline basic details of industry- and job-relevant post-secondary school programs that have a work-integrated learning component. Talent MATCH partners: ACE-WIL, the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, the BC Museums Association, and go2HR, funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Training. This program ran in 2021-22 and has ended.

Post-secondary institutions and practitioners within the ACE-WIL community are engaging in various initiatives, programs and experiences that align with and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). This resource pack includes resources to support the aims of the UN SDGs.

This resource pack contains presentation recordings and associated resources from the 2021 ACE-WIL Symposia in May and November 2021. Topics ranged from capacity building with students, employer recruitment and engagement strategies, WIL program development and resources to support equity, diversity and inclusion. The Symposia were part of a COWIL Initiative Project.

Resources on hiring a WIL student and getting started with student talent. These resources are developed by Talent Forward, a BC Chamber of Commerce program.

Resources related to WIL preparatory curriculum including: programs for WIL student preparation, quality frameworks for WIL preparatory curriculum, learning and teaching models and methods.

In October and November 2020 and January 2021, ACE-WIL hosted a series of webinars to help BC workplaces get up-and-running with a WIL student. Recordings from two of these sessions are available for viewing and feature stories from employers who have engaged WIL students, how they've benefited from student talent and how they've accessed funding.
