Students registered in Associate degrees take two years to complete and concentrate on one area of study. Students assist businesses in writing, editing, conducting research and depending on their Specialty, i.e. Anthropology, Criminology, Creative Writing, Economics, English, Geography, Math, Modern Languages, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psych, Sociology and Theatre can assist with specific projects through full-time, paid, Work Terms (Co-operative Education).
Co-operative education alternates semesters of classroom studies with paid, full-time work, giving you hands-on experience that will make you job ready when you graduate. Work terms are usually four or eight months and take place after you have completed the second or third semester of your academic program.
