Studio 58 is the professional theatre training program at Langara College. Led by Courtenay Dobbie, the program offers nationally recognized training for both actors and production personnel and produces six public productions annually.
Rather than performing or working on a production, some students are offered an “outside placement” with a professional theatre company. These outside placements offer opportunities to perform or assist with design, stage management, or technical needs of a production. These placements vary in length and scope.
