The Early Childhood Care and Learning Diploma Program provides students with theoretical understanding and comprehensive practical skills through supervised practicum placements.
Graduates of the diploma are qualified to work with infants and toddlers and children with diverse abilities and they can apply for a certificate to practice as an Infant/Toddler Educator and/or a Special Needs Educator from the Early Childhood Educator Registry in BC.
Many students are available for internships or for hire at the end of a semester following final exams especially in the spring.
