Talent MATCH partners: ACE-WIL, the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, the BC Museums Association, and go2HR, funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Training. This program ran in 2021-22 and has ended.
The Talent MATCH Program is launching with an introductory webinar on March 23 at 2:00pm (PST) and you’re invited!
Talent Match focuses on employers from museums, arts, tourism, culture, and hospitality organizations and helps them find student talent to innovate and grow their businesses. The Program offers resources as well as one-on-one advising. Visit acewilbc.ca/talent-match for more information.
The introductory webinar will offer employers information on what WIL is, cover funding that’s available now, and will feature Heather McGilvary, a Senior Program Coordinator with TECHNATION—a Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) delivery partner. Heather will explain how employers can acquire a wage subsidy through SWPP via TECHNATION as well as information on the SWPP in general. And of course, we’ll highlight stories from students and the jobs they’ve done to help organizations thrive.
If you’re looking to connect students with employers in the MATCH sectors, Project Manager Debby Reis wants to know about your programs! Contact her at TalentMatch@acewilbc.ca.
