Approximately 19,000 learners a year attend Camosun College for upgrading, certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree, post-degree diploma, and continuing education programs. Our quality programs are based on our dedication to provide educational excellence.
Many programs at Camosun College offer a co-op or internship component that provides opportunities to apply classroom learning in a paid work experience and can offer a direct line to a job. We are committed to the co-op concept as a valuable educational method that meets the needs of students and the community, and we are an important local partner in co-operative education.
Co-op students get the opportunity to apply their classroom skills to the workplace and gain a world of benefits. Students must take COOP WEP before their first Co-op or Internship work term. Through online materials and a series of interactive workshops, students gain the knowledge, tools, and skills needed for successful career management. These workshops may also be required for participation in work terms leading to other designations.
