Join us in celebrating student achievement throughout March by voting on your top 5 IMPACT 2020 WIL student stories. Voting opens on March 8th and closes at 11:59 pm on March 31st.
We received 70 total submissions! Thank you to all our members who helped spread the word.
All ACE-WIL members are eligible to vote and will receive an email from Simply Voting, the secure voting platform we are using for voting on stories. Simply log in with the unique elector ID and password you receive through the email, and read through all the wonderful stories about student impact during the pandemic.
Tips for reviewing and voting
Even though we asked that submissions be limited to 150 words, with over 70 submissions it will still take time to go through all the entries.
When you first see the voting page, all the submissions will be listed randomly. To view each entry, click on the [view details] button to expand the entry and read the submission.
Tip: If you like the submission, keep it expanded. Then, you can short-list down to your top five selections by closing the entries that won’t receive your vote.
Voting Policy & Confidentiality
Please note that only ACE-WIL members will be eligible to vote. The elector ID you receive will be unique to you and cannot be shared with others. All mention of students’ names or institutions has been removed from the stories to ensure anonymity and avoid favouritism.
Following the winner announcement, stories will be available for ACE-WIL members to access on ACE-WIL’s Resource Hub. You will need to login to access the stories and consent must be obtained by the students before publishing their story at your institution.

Submission Results
Thank you very much for spreading the word to students, employers and colleagues in the WIL community. Submission results show that most heard about IMPACT 2020 through their post secondary institution. Without you there wouldn’t be nearly as much student success to celebrate!
