Hello ACE-WIL BC Members!

Spring is in the air and as it happens, change is afoot! I’m excited this spring to step into the role of ACE-WIL BC President, officially receiving the torch at our upcoming Spring AGM on May 9th (stay tuned for the invite and Zoom link).

I want to take a moment to recognize our incredible current President, Stephanie Greaves. Over the past two years, Stephanie has been a phenomenal leader, paving the way with dedication and vision. As I take on the President role, I am deeply grateful for Stephanie’s mentorship and the support of our outstanding board.
A little about me—I’m the Director of Operations and Strategy with Co-operative Education and Career Services at the University of Victoria. My work focuses on strategic planning, operational management, and supporting students through experiential learning opportunities, a passion that has guided me throughout my 20+ years in post-secondary education.

I have previously contributed to ACE-WIL BC as Treasurer, Business Officer and committee member on the External Partnerships and Events Committee. You can read more about my career journey here.

I am eager to bring a collaborative approach to this new role, working alongside the board to advance ACE-WIL BC’s mission and serve our incredible community. I’m looking forward to connecting with you all over the next year—whether at a virtual PD event or in person at our 2026 ACE-WIL Conference at Thompson Rivers University in beautiful Kamloops, BC!

See you soon!

Chelsey Evans
President-Elect, ACE-WIL BC
