Seeking PD Committee Co-Chair
Hello from the ACE-WIL Professional Development (PD) Committee! I’m Meg Thompson, current chair of the PD Committee. I am excited to announce that we are looking for a co-chair to join our small but mighty team!
As co-chair, you’ll work alongside an experienced and enthusiastic team who are dedicated to bringing learning opportunities to our membership. Having served on the PD Committee for over 6 years as a member, co-chair and as the current chair, I have gained invaluable personal and professional experiences. Our team is collaborative, engaged and has well established event planning processes to support our work.
There are many benefits to joining, such as contributing to the advancement of WIL, advancing your project management skills and continuous learning through the application of new knowledge and skills gained through our PD events.
Please reach out to me at megt@uvic.ca if you are curious and want to learn more.

Promote Study on Autistic Students & WIL
Help promote a study that is recruiting autistic students to better understand their experiences navigating Work-Integrated Learning programs. Researchers are aiming to learn about students’ experiences in WIL and create recommendations (in an online resource hub) for fostering neuro-inclusive WIL experiences.
Participation in this study involves completing an online questionnaire and answering a series of questions about WIL experiences.
To support this study's outreach to Autistic individuals, please consider sharing the website or flyer (PDF) to students in your WIL programs.
